"S is for Sister" Layout Plus A Tutorial

Hi, Today I will be sharing a layout and a video tutorial for another layout.

"S is for Sister" Layout

I love how readily my kids would hug each other when they are young. This photo was taken in an outing to MacRitchie Reservoir few years back. I used papers from Lemoncraft. For the background, I just randomly add texture paste over a Prima stencil. Then adhered the paper mats and photo with foam tape. I cut out the flowers and frames from paper of same collection. I also stamp some butterfly images in the page.

For the chipboard shapes, I gesso over and painted them with Shimmerz Jilted Jade then rub the edges with Prima/Ingvild Bolme chalk ink, Shabby Tote.

I love to create dimensions by popping the elements with foam tape. Here the journaling strips are inked with distress ink, Tea Dye.

For the chipboard title, I gesso over and rubbed Prima/Ingvild Bolme chalk inks, Old Road and Moss Lawn. I added 2 half pearls on it too.

Here's the chipboards that I have used in this layout:

For my next sharing, I created a video tutorial on my April "Sand themed" layout. Its my first video that I taped and edited all by myself (after a whole day of training given by my brother). So please be kind to me if I did it wrongly. LOL.

Here's the layout in the video:

I hope you enjoy the tutorial. Here's the chipboards I have used in the video:

Thanks for watching. Please do leave a comment to stand a chance to win a pack of chipboards. Have a fun crafty day.
